The Grove Inn was a comfortable and convenient stay. The room was clean, the bedding was very comfortable, and I slept extremely well. The location was easy to access and worked well for my plans in San Francisco. That said, the overall feel was more simple than elegant, and there was a noticeable room odor that detracted from the experience. While it was perfectly fine for a short stay, it didn’t quite match the ‘boutique’ feel suggested in some reviews. Overall, a decent option if comfort and location are your priorities.

The room was clean. The clock beside the bed was not set to the correct time and we could not figure out how to change it. I wish the coffee amenities were a better- creamer rather than powdered "stuff"? Our room had no view to speak of, as we overlooked the parking garage. Assessment for 2 days of "Resort" fees, when we are on property for less than 48 hours seemed superfluous.
